A brief review by
Robert K. Patterson

Well, I guess it’s time to start today’s lesson. I don’t normally go for school type anime although those middle school students from Academy City did get my attention.

I was checking reviews for this anime and I noticed that they ranged from 1 to 3 on a scale of 5 for this anime. While I agree with them to a certain extent, I came out of it with a different experience. The beginning was a bit aggravating, I liked the fact everyone was really into manga and anime. I also liked the ability of Jun’ichirō to think outside the box in every episode.

I liked the light hearted approach the anime portrays. While at times, the characters seemed very serious, it is hard to take each episode too serious. To me, I had fun watching it which is the bottom line for me. If you haven’t checked this out and you like this type of anime, I recommend it to you.
